As we are Maine natives we take special pride in the famous Maine Lobster.
The lobster featured on this sign was hand carved by Kevin Freeman and carefully molded.
Each lobster is cast in durable outside urethane and gilded with 23 gold leaf.
These signs are hand crafted and come in either gloss black or dark green.
Our lobster and pineapple welcome signs can be seen all over the country. They will make your visitors nostalgic and welcome in a graceful fashion. The pineapple is the traditional American symbol of hospitality. When the colonial sea captains returned from their voyages, they would take pineapples from their cargo and hang them on their front doors or gate posts as a sign of welcome and hospitality. Later people began carving designs into doorways and fence posts. Many times, pineapples are given as a symbol of welcome and or friendship.
